Maybe a hobby, a skill or trade...or what you normally do for pay on a job?
I've been watching a man who chooses yards to clean up and give a nice, clean look to and he doesn't cut corners just because he's doing it for free.
He's become an inspiration to me and does exactly what I say. "Leave it better than you find it".

What an amazing thing to do for someone. It's a pity the world doesn't have more like-minded people in it. What a place it would be!!

I do a lot of voluntary "work" costing me nothing more than my time helping people with computers, teaching them how to do online stuff, troubleshooting issues, teaching them how to use software, etc.
I have always liked to do that but it really took off after Covid hit and they either couldn't get help or people were trying to rip them off knowing they were stuck at home and no one much to turn to.
But I like helping people and the odd word of thanks and knowing I have made someone's day a bit better is reward enough for me.
I also do up and service old computers that still work OK and give them to people who need them. Better that they get a few years use of them than they get thrown on the tip.

That's very cool, Kieran! That is something you could probably make a bit of money off of! That's exactly the type of stuff that inspires me and the type of person I admire... those who give and don't hold hands out all the time.
I realize we all need to make money to survive, but it says a lot when a person is willing to give sometimes... with no expectations of a payoff.

I agree..we could use a lot more people willing to help each other just because it's a good thing to do.
I've started doing my share once in a while but I never tell anyone. lol I'm sure people notice, but they probably have no clue who did it. :)

Oh a secret Santa helper, that's even better 😁
