Recently, I acquired a guitar that had belonged to someone very special. The guitar had not been handled with care before being sent here and I am
now learning how to repair/replace parts needed.
I am learning how to tell what I need, what sizes of certain items and how to make it all work together
again.
I guess it's true we do keep on learning new things.
I still need to learn how to tune a guitar once I have it all together again. One thing at a time. :)

Hi, Breezey!! 👋😁
I hope you are doing OK.
I can imagine that will be an interesting project.
Thud intrigued me with the ones he makes that he used to put pictures of on the art blog. So many different designs.
It's a shame he didn't do a discussion on that. Loads of people would have been interested, I think.
I would like to see some pictures of yours if you have any.

Actually, learning new things is what I love to do most, whether it's from watching something being done to reading up about it in books or online.
All sorts of things.
I like to learn for the sake of learning, if you know what I mean!! Shiny happy smile

@KieranT
I remember Thud and his guitars. I was impressed for sure!
I think I know what you mean about the learning. :)

I'm not sure I'll be putting pictures of the guitar on internet. He customized it with his name and it's more personal. I'm not doing anything fancy, just replacing parts and repairing it.

I've been okay. I hope the same is true for you and yours. :)
I made a few stepping stones. My first one, I think Shirley would have liked. I put a bit of my heart into it. If you come back to this and would like...I could show you pictures of it.
Well, off to see what the day has in store for me. lol

Oh, I quite understand about the pictures. I am always having to remember to blank my name out on any artworks of mine I share on Disqus etc.
Oh, yes please, I would love to see the stepping stone!! Shiny happy smile
Shirley is on a break from Disqus and I can't say I blame her on that one!!

I realize Shirley gave you run of her site and she made a really good choice doing so. :)
I miss Shirley, but I understand a break is required.
Going to send a message later.

This stepping stone was done in memory of that special person.

It's decorative and only for seeing, not walking on. :)  I will be making some regular ones for walking on.
Edit...still not sure what is up with the pictures looking so huge, but if you click on links to see them, the whole stepping stone will be visible

Oh, that is so beautiful and a great idea as a way to cement someone's memory - sorry for the pun!! Shiny happy smile
That's something that anyone can do if they want to, as well.
That's definitely something I would have a bash at.
They would also make nice pet memorials or grave markers.

Thank you, Kieran.
You are right about anyone being able to do this, if they really want.
I did a three piece set...smaller and round with the words "live, love and laugh" on them. A flower on each one. Now, I want to try some that actually get laid to step on. :)

These are things I love to share and wish others had wanted to really try things and share on Shirley's site she had.
