Thank you for your thoughts on it here, Sprite. I just never realized all the options people have on the preference part of their profiles. I like the idea we are given many choices and just want anyone who has an account to check and make sure it's all to their likings.
And I'm sorry I'm not around much again.... seems like it's that time of the year to be sick and all that good stuff!

Sometimes, like Disqus, the gif is too big and won't work.  I don't have that one so I cannot try. When you put the "insert image" or "host an image", do you choose to send all and insert all?

I'm not sure what the ICQ is. That is under information.
To check what you do or don't want for messages, etc..., you need to go to profile and then preferences. After that, there is a list to set preferences on.

It's funny, recently signing up with some online shops, the preferences are automatic to contact for clarification. Icq was a chat room a long while back, that now has video chat.

After giving it some thought, I'd prefer to be told upon registering that I need to choose preferences and make sure they are what I'd like.  To have a preset way and not have it mentioned just has me not even giving it all a thought.
